Along a Petrified River is a wearable map of a paddling journey on the Oswegatchie River and Stillwater Reservoir in the Adirondacks. Items, frozen in resin, were collected from campsites along the way, and were chosen for their representations of these places of human/nature intersection at the moment of my visit. This piece exists in many formats: as a sculpture, an installation, and as performance, an illustration of space experienced through my own eyes and my own hands.
